Seattle Weekend Itinerary

A Seattle weekend is good for the soul. Here's a video highlight reel!

This city offers equal opportunities for cultural exploration, yummy food, and breathtaking hikes.

See below for the full weekend itinerary (none of this is sponsored, just what I love!)

Seattle Weekend Itinerary

Day 1 Morning

Chihuly Garden and Glass - 305 Harrison St

This is one of my favorite art exhibits in the world. I went for the first time a decade ago, and revisiting this year was just as wonderful. It's conveniently located next to the Space Needle.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is a can't-miss

Day 1 Mid-day

Visit Pike's Place to Explore & Enjoy a Grazing Lunch

I recommend getting small bites from multiple places! A Seattle weekend itinerary is incomplete without Pike's Place :)

Day 1 Late Afternoon/Evening

Gas Works Park - 2101 N Northlake Way

This is one of the most unique parks I've ever been to. It has an amazing view of Lake Union & Seattle's skyline. It has the remnants of the sole remaining coal gasification plant in the United States.

Willmotts Ghost - 2100 6th Ave

Stylish, modern interior complements a yummy Italian dinner - don't skip the focaccia!

Day 2 Morning/Afternoon

Monorail Espresso - 2120 Westlake Ave

Fabulous coffee (which is saying something in a city that has a lot of great coffee!)

Snow Lake Trail - Trailhead: Alpental Access Rd, North Bend, WA

Gorgeous hike that allows you to see a beautiful glacier lake. The hike is a little less than 7 miles and ~1,700ft of elevation gain. It's about an hour outside of the city, so a rental car is recommended!

Day 2 Evening

Rumba - 1112 Pike St

Enjoyed delicious pre-dinner mocktails here - but, they have over 200 rums if that's your thing!

Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar - 1521 Melrose Ave

FRESH seafood! The perfect choice if you love oysters

Salt & Straw - 714 E Pike St

Truly some of the best ice cream I've ever had... a must-have for any trip out west!

Bonus Activity on a Beautiful Summer Night?

Enjoy a sunset cruise to take in the Seattle skyline aboard a sailboat!

You can book it here on Viator

Lodging

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Seattle because I had a couple of Category 1-4 free night certificates (earned using The World of Hyatt Credit Card). I loved the central location because it allowed us to walk to a lot of these places.

If you need a new travel credit card to book your trip with, check out my top recommendations here.
